Very Rev. Fr. Constantin Alecse (Background Profile)   Member of the Board of Directors, President and CEO of the Eastern Orthodox Heritage Foundation.   Very Rev. Fr. Constantin Alecse is Dean of the ROEA’s Pacific Coast Deanery, Orthodox Church of America, and Senior Pastor of the Holy Trinity ROC, Los Angeles, California. He is also the Head Trustee of the VF Trust.

A graduate of the Theological Institute of Bucharest, V. Rev. Fr. C. Alecse pursued PHD Courses in Theology, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dumitru Staniloae, professor of Dogmatics (Romania); and Cannon A. W. Allchin, dean of the Anglican Cathedral of Canterbury, and chair of the Theological Department at London University, on the subject of "The Concept of the Incarnation of the Son of God, in The Anglican Theology, from the sixteenth to the twentieth century", while he was serving as pastor of St. George's ROC in London, GB (1976-1980). 

Father Alecse also served as "The Representative" of the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate to Dr. Donald Coggan, Archbishop of Canterbury, of the Church of England (1976-1980), being awarded the distinction of "Iconom Stavroforos", by HB Justinian, Patriarch of Romania. 

During 1980-1982, Fr. Alecse served as Rector of St. Mary's ROC (St. Paul), MN; and (during 1982-to present) as Senior Pastor of Holy Trinity ROC, LA, CA.

Fr. Alecse holds a degree in Business Management & Computer Languages Programming; Communications and Accounting - Specialty: International business and financing. Father Constantin Alecse initiated and/or helped in creating, or influenced the creation of many Internet pages (primarily for Orthodox Theology).

Fr. Alecse is a member of the Southern California Orthodox Clergy Association (since 1982); an Honorary member of the Mission Department of Southwark (Church of England) Southwark/London (1977-1980); Chairman of the Mission Department of R.O.E.A. (1984-1988); as "Dean", a member of that Department of Missions (1984-2004); and Dean of the Pacific Coast Deanery, R.O.E.A. (1984-2009).
