A graduate of the Theological Institute of Bucharest, V. Rev. Fr. C. Alecse pursued PHD Courses in Theology, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dumitru Staniloae, professor of Dogmatics (Romania); and Cannon A. W. Allchin, dean of the Anglican Cathedral of Canterbury, and chair of the Theological Department at London University, on the subject of "The Concept of the Incarnation of the Son of God, in The Anglican Theology, from the sixteenth to the twentieth century", while he was serving as pastor of St. George's ROC in London, GB (1976-1980).Father Alecse also served as "The Representative" of the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate to Dr. Donald Coggan, Archbishop of Canterbury, of the Church of England (1976-1980), being awarded the distinction of "Iconom Stavroforos", by HB Justinian, Patriarch of Romania.During 1980-1982, Fr. Alecse served as Rector of St. Mary's ROC (St. Paul), MN; and (during 1982-to present) as Senior Pastor of Holy Trinity ROC, LA, CA.
